Unsolved Crimes
| 1/23/2010 - REWARD OFFERED IN ATTEMPTED MURDER CASE!!! | Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspects responsible for the shooting of Michael Keetley on January 23, 2010. The victim’s family and friends are also offering a reward of up to $4,000 for a period of up to one year for the arrest and convictions of the suspects responsible for the shooting.
On January 23, 2010, at approximately 6:30 pm, the victim was selling ice cream from an ice cream truck in front of 4335 Old Highway 41 South in Old Sun City. An unknown black female approached the ice cream truck and asked for a soda. While the victim was helping the black female, two unknown black males exited the same vehicle that the black female got out of. The black males approached the victim and said, “Give me the money”. One of the suspects shot the victim three times. All of the suspects then fled in the listed vehicle.
Suspect #1 is described as a black female in her 20’s, 5’10” in height and weighing 200 pounds with a large build. She had a medium complexion, shoulder length curly black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a tan jacket, tan dress pants and a white t-shirt.
Suspect #2, the shooter, was described as a black male, 20-25 years of age, 5’10” in height and weighing 165 pounds with a thin build. He had a medium complexion and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black ski mask and black knit gloves.
Suspect #3 was described as a black male of unknown age, 5’7” in height, weighing 215 pounds with a large build. He had a medium complexion and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue/green flannel shirt and a black ski mask.
The suspect vehicle was described as a 1990’s white Buick Century, 4-door with dark tinted windows and two small doughnut spare tires. The photo shown is not the actual vehicle, but similar to the suspect vehicle.

| | 1/17/2010 - Thieves Make Off with Jet Skis | On January 17, 2010, at 4:00am, three unknown white male suspects removed two (2) 2008 Sea Doo RXT Jet Skis and a Continental trailer from the driveway of 6741 Ralston Beach Circle in Tampa. The jet skis are red, black and white in color. The trailer is gray in color bearing Florida tag #AWC25W. The jet skis and trailer are valued at approximately $23,000. The photographs of the suspects and the suspect vehicles were captured by the victim’s surveillance system.
Suspect #1 is described as a Caucasian male, 18-21 years of age, 5’10 – 6’, 165 – 180 lbs., fair complexion, thin build, short brown hair, and was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt and jeans and black shoes. Suspect #2 is described as a Caucasian male, 18-21 years of age, 5’6” – 5’8”, 175 – 190 lbs, medium build, light complexion, short brown hair, and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jean shorts. Suspect #3 Caucasian male, 18-21 years of age, 5’10 – 6’, 170 – 185 lbs., thin build, light complexion, short brown hair, and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jean shorts.
The suspects were driving a 2000’s model Dodge Quad Cab truck, white in color. A 2003-2007 Mercedes E-Class, 4 door, white in color observed on the video may also be involved.

| | 11/17/2009 - REWARD OFFERED FOR ARRESTS OF GRAND THEFT SUSPECTS! | Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information that leads to the identification and arrests of the unknown suspects who are responsible for stealing over $300 worth of merchandise on November 17, 2009, from the Circle K Store located at 7220 W. Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa. The suspects then fled on foot in an unknown direction with the stolen merchandise.
Suspect #1 is described as a Caucasian female, 20-30 years of age, fair complexion, blonde hair, thin build, and was last seen wearing a black shirt with white lettering that said “ My Way” on the front. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 40-50 years of age, short black hair, short black and gray beard, medium build, and was last seen wearing a light blue long sleeve shirt, jeans, and a cap.

| | 10/31/2009 - DJ MURDERED AT PARTY...REWARD OFFERED | Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect(s) responsible for the murder of 21 year old Shamir Garnelo, DOB 4-1-88 of Plant City, FL. Garnelo found dead in the bathroom of the American Legion Hall 173 at 1750 Arcadia Road in Holiday on October 31, 2009. He was at a combined birthday-Halloween party as a music DJ. Detectives have interviewed about fifty people who were at the party, but many left before deputies arrived and they wish to talk to anyone who was at the party. Two suspects in motorcycle helmets, black clothes and gloves were seen fleeing the bathroom before Garnelo`s body was found.

On August 19, 2009, the victim and a friend were walking northbound on N. Boulevard, just south of Palm Avenue, on the westside of the street, crossing the Boulevard bridge when they were confronted by a B/M suspect armed with a gun. The suspect attempted to rob the victim and his friend. Both the victim and his friend friend ran away fromthe suspect and gunshot(s) were fired. The victim was struck by a bullet(s) and died from his injuries. The unknown suspect fl ed in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as a black male in his mid 20’s to early 30s, light facial hair, dark skin, 5’10”, 180lbs, husky build, and was last seen wearing a light colored t-shirt.

| | 7/2/2009 - DETECTIVES SEEK ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING ROBBERY SUSPECT!! | Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect who robbed the Arby`s located at 5610 E. Fowler Avenue in Tampa. On Thursday, July 2, 2009, at 10:24 pm, an unknown black male suspect entered the restaurant armed with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5`8" - 5`10" tall, 150-160 lbs, and was last seen wearing a black hat pink or red bandana across his face, gray hooded sweatshirt, black and red basketball shoes, and black gloves. Temple Terrace Police Department detectives believe that the same suspect has committed previous robberies at the same location and the Burger King located at 5301 E. Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information that leads to the identification and arrests of the suspects responsible for the murder of 54 year old Walter George Patey. On June 13, 2009, at approximately 3:31 am, the victim was found near the area of N. Elmore Street and E. Adalee Street in Tampa. A witness saw the victim get out of a light colored vehicle, occupied by four, unknown suspects. One of the suspects struck the victim once on the head with an unknown hard object while another suspect shot the victim in the chest and leg. The victim did not survive his wounds. The victim was a registered sex offender and had a GPS monitor on him. This allowed the Tampa Police Department to track his movements. Based on that tracking, they know that the victim was in Ybor City from about 7:40 pm on June 12, 2009, until approximately 3:00am on June 13, 2009. The GPS signal was lost near the area of E. Palm Avenue and N. 10th. Street, indicating that he was picked up by the suspect vehicle at that location.
Suspect descriptions: 1) B/M, 6`2", long dreads, early thirties 2) B/M, 5`9", short hair, early twenties 3) B/M, 5`7", bushy dreads, early twenties 4) Possibly a B/F driver The suspect vehicle is described as a late eighties-early nineties, Oldsmobile or Buick, four-door, cream colored.

| | 6/8/2009 - Dade City Man Shot During Late Night Robbery | Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information that leads to the identity of the unkknown suspects who robbed and shot a Dade City resident and his girlfriend. On Monday, June 6, 2009, at approximately 11:23 pm , officers of the Dade City Police Department responded to a report of a robbery and shooting in the area of Martin Luther King Blvd and 14 th St. in Dade City.
Officers were subsequently notified of a shooting victim at the Pasco Regional Medical center Emergency room. The investigation determined that two, unknown black males approached the victim and his girlfriend at a residence. The subjects took the male victim into the residence where he was shot. The female victim was placed on the ground outside the residence and was not injured. She then drove her boyfriend to the hospital.
The subjects are described as two Black males 18-25. The victim is at the hospital and is recovering from his injuries.

| | 6/3/2009 - Tampa Police Seek Identification of Burglary Suspects | Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information that leads to the identification of two unknown suspects who attempted to use a stolen credit card that was taken during a car burglary in the Forest Hills area of Tampa. On June 3, 2009, between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm, the victim’s vehicle was burglarized and her purse was stolen while parked at the Forest Hills playground located at 724 109th Avenue West in Tampa. At 9:45 pm on the same evening, two unknown suspects attempted to use her credit cards at the Walmart located at 2701 East Fletcher Avenue in Tampa.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect wanted for exposing and fondling himself in front of a nine-year-old girl who was walking to school. The suspect did not try to touch or grab the victim.
The incident occurred on March 11, 2009, as the fourth grader was walking to Fox Hollow Elementary School in Port Richey. The man, who is believed to be in his 20s or 30s, was riding a bike. He is described as a white male, bald, with a line of whiskers going from his sideburns along the jaw to his chin. He was wearing a brown, long-sleeved shirt and baggy blue jeans. The bike is described as a blue, mountain-style bicycle.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the unknown suspect(s) responsible for the murder of 46 year old Thomas William Flannery of Zephyrhills. On January 3, 2009, at 2:05am, officers observed a vehicle traveling west bound on Martin Luther King cross the tracks at a high rate of speed. The vehicle left the roadway on the south shoulder of Martin Luther King, where it struck a tree. Officers on the scene discovered that the victim had what appeared to be a gun shot wound. The victim was transported to Pasco Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Investigatirs believe that Flannery was in the area of Pyracantha Park when he was shot.
