Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect who is responsible for four similar purse snatchings in area of the 4800 block of east Busch Blvd in Tampa. On March 10, 2010, at approximately 2:41 pm, the 62-year-old victim and a friend were walking through the Big Lots parking lot located at 4998 E. Busch Blvd. when the suspect approached her from behind on a bicycle and grabbed her purse. In an attempt to keep her purse, the victim began struggling with the suspect. The suspect was able to get the purse off of the woman`s arm and fled southbound across Busch Boulevard. The victim suffered minor bruising and abrasions to her arm as a result of the short struggle.
On February 19, 2010, the suspect attempted to snatch the purse of a 29-year-old woman who was walking back to her car from the same Big Lots. The victim refused to let go of her purse and started yelling for help. After dragging the victim 200 feet through the parking lot, the suspect finally released the purse causing the victim to fall to the ground. This victim also received minor injuries.
This is the fourth robbery that has occurred in or near the Big Lots parking area. In two of the cases, the suspect walked up to the victims and forcefully shoved them in order to grab their bags. The unknown suspect is described as a B/M, 18-21 years old, approx. 6`, 150-180 lbs, thick eye brows, clean shaven, dark complexion and was last seen wearing an orange Rocawear polo shirt and baggie blue jeans. The suspect was riding a blue bicycle.

| | 3/4/2010 - Suspect Breaks into Eleven Businesses | SUSPECT: Caucasian Male, dressed in business attire, glasses, wide nose, under 6 feet, medium build, mid 30s to mid 40s
WHEN: March 1 and 2, 2010, between noon and 5:30 a.m.
WHERE: 2002 Lois Avenue North, Tampa, (11 separate suites)
DETAILS: The suspect broke into 11 offices in the business complex and took four computers, a business suit and a duffel bag. The suspect arrived by taxi around noon on March 1 and spent nearly 18 hours entering and exiting the building. He left around 5:30 a.m. on March 2. There are vacant offices in the building. Detectives believe he may have been in a vacant office overnight.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information that leads to the identity and arrest of two unknown B/M suspects who kicked in the door of a Lutz residence in an attempted residential burglary. On March 2, 2010, at approximately 11:45 a.m. the suspect vehicle is seen backing into the victim`s driveway located in the 18000 block of Bittern Avenue in Lutz . One of the suspect`s is seen exiting the vehicle and goes to the front door of the residence and rings the door bell for several minutes. The suspect then gets back into the vehicle and leaves.
According to the victim, approximately 10 minutes later the suspects returned and kicked in the front door of the residence. When the suspects kicked in the door, the victim screamed and ran to another room where she called law enforcement. The suspects fled before taking anything.
Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 22 - 29 years of age, approximately 5`11", light complexion, short black hair, and was last seen wearing green pants, green t-shirt, black shoes and carrying a folding style cell phone. He has what appears to be an earring in his left ear. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 18- 21 years of age, approximately 5`3", light complexion, thin build, and was last seen wearing a gold/yellow t-shirt.

| | 2/19/2010 - Bank Robbery Suspects Sought!! | On February 19, 2010, at approximately 8:35am, two unknown black male suspects entered the Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union located at 950 W. Fletcher Avenue in Tampa. Suspect #1 sat in the waiting area while suspect #2 approached the counter and gave the teller a note written on a bank withdrawal slip demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of currency, both suspects exited the bank together through the front door.
Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 25-30 years of age, 6’0-6’3” in height, and weighing 200+ pounds. He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, cream colored hooded sweat jacket with unknown writing and brightly colored drawings on the front and long blue jean shorts.
Suspect #2 is described as a black male in his late 20’s or early 30’s, 5’6”-5’8” in height with a medium build, unshaven with a mustache and beard. He was last seen wearing a tan jacket with brown trim, a white t-shirt underneath and dark colored pants.
Within the video surveillance footage, there is a red or burgundy vehicle, possibly a Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable, seen leaving the parking area a short time after the suspects exited the bank.

| | 2/12/2010 - Tampa Police Searching For Serial Robber Who Hit Same Pawn Shop 3 Times |  |
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up tp $1000 for information that leads to the arrest of the unknown suspect who robbed the Cash America located at 9631 N. Nebraska Avenue in Tampa on Friday, February 12, 2010, at 10:45 am. Detectives believe the same suspect has robbed the same pawn shop using the same MO three times in the last three years. The two prior robberies occurred on August 9 and September 6, 2007.
In each incident, the suspect entered the store with a gun and ordered customers and clerks to the floor. He then jumped the counter forcing an employee to open the safe and register. In Friday`s incident, the suspect entered the passenger side of the car which fled east on S. Castle Ct.
Suspect Description: light to medium skinned b/m, 5`10-6`0, 160-175lbs., late 20`s, wearing a gray zip up hoodie with "NBA" in blue with the NBA logo on the front, dark baggie cargo pants, with blue shoes with white laces. He also has a bandanna covering his face. He is armed with an unknown type gun which was covered with a bag. He is also carrying a dark blue pull-string canvas bag.
Suspect vehicle: maroon crossover, possibly a Hyundai Sante Fe,with alloy wheels and gray molding on the bottom part of the vehicle. (similar to the vehicle in the picture)

| | 2/5/2010 - Person of Interest Sought in Murder Case | Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the unknown suspect responsible for the murder of 28 year old Peter Hyman of Tampa. The victim was shot by an unknown black male suspect in the parking lot of the Tally Ho Pub, located at 7402 N. 56th Street in Tampa, on Feb. 5, 2010, at 2:45 am.
Earlier in the evening, the victim was involved in an altercation with a group of individuals inside the pub. A short time later the victim left the establishment at closing time and proceeded to his vehicle in the parking lot. As the victim was sitting in his car, he was approached by an unknown suspect who shot him one time in the upper body with an unknown type of firearm. The suspect then fled the scene in possibly a 1990’s black Cadillac Escalade or a 4 door dark colored 1990`s model sedan with an unknown tag.
The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion, early 20’s, 5’10”, 175 - 185 lbs., with a medium build and clean shaven. HE was observed to possibly have a receding hairline, his eyes are positioned close togetger, and he spoke with a slight speech impediment. He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, red shirt, black jeans and white tennis shoes.
Below is a photograph of one of the unknown subjects who had been involved in the altercation with the victim prior to the shooting and is considered a person of interest whom detectives would like to speak to regarding the case.

| | 1/2/2010 - REWARD OFFERED FOR GRAND THEFT SUSPECTS!! | Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information that leads to the identity and arrest three unknown suspects who stole a diamond ring valued at $2,000 from the Wal-Mart located at 1208 Brandon Boulevard in Brandon. On January 2, 2010, at approximately 7:28 pm, two unknown white males and an unknown white female were able to remove a diamond solitaire in a white gold setting from the jewelry counter and fled the store in silver Ford 150 extended cab pickup truck with a silver topper.
Suspect #1 is described as a white male last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark colored pants, white tennis shoes, and a red Nike baseball cap. Suspect #2 is described as a white female, blonde hair, last seen wearing a yellow sweatshirt and dark colored pants. Suspect #3 is described as a white male with tattoos on both forearms last seen wearing an orange t-shirt, long, baggy shorts, white tennis shoes, and light blue baseball cap.

| | 8/3/2009 - Vehicle Burglarized...Thieves Fraudulently Use Victim`s Credit Card | Between August 3, 2009 at 3:00pm and August 4, 2009, at 9:00 am, unknown suspect(s) broke into the victim’s 1996 Mercury Marquis by unknown means and removed several credit cards while the vehicle was parked at the victim`s residence. The unknown W/M subject pictured on the right used one of the victim’s credit cards at the Walmart in Gibsonton on 08/04/09 at 5:26 am. The same subject also used the credit card at the Walmart on Causeway Blvd. at 4:30am, within 13 hours of the burglary.

| | 7/16/2009 - REWARD OFFERED FOR ARREST OF ROBBERY SUSPECT!! | Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of an unknown suspect who battered and robbed an elderly female victim in Temple Terrace. On Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at approximately 10:10 pm, an unknown black male suspect entered the lobby of Life Path Hospice located at 11125 N. 52nd Street in Temple Terrace. The suspect then battered an elderly female in the lobby, took her purse, and fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male, 20-40 years of age, 6’ – 6’2” tall, 210-220 lbs, bald, has a moustache, and was last seen wearing dark clothing, possibly a burgundy t-shirt and dark pants. The victim described the suspect has having distinct, arched eyebrows and his nose was flat on the bridge and upturned on the end. No vehicle was observed in connection with this incident.

| | 7/15/2009 - Help Detectives Solve Dontae Leslie`s Murder | |
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the unknown suspect(s) responsible for the murder of 20 year old Dontae Leslie of Tampa. The victim was found deceased at 6922 Baldwin Avenue in Tampa on July 15, 2009, at approximately 1:16 am after Hillsborough County deputies responded to a call of shots being fired at the residence. The victim suffered blunt trauma to his upper torso and died as a result.
